Electrical Designer – HV/LV
Location: Amman, Jordan
Industry: MV/LV Switchgear and Distribution Transformer Manufacturing
Requirement Summary:
We are looking for an Electrical Designer experienced in High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, preferably in switchgear and distribution transformer manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts.
- Develop designs for HV/LV systems, switchgear panels, and distribution transformers.
- Prepare cable schedules, connection diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve design issues.
- Update drawings according to engineering changes and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and testing teams.
Required Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in electrical design, preferably in switchgear or transformer manufacturing.
- Knowledge of HV/LV systems, electrical components, and distribution transformers.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
