Job Description
*Job Summary*
The FlexSim Simulation Engineer develops, analyzes, and optimizes full-scale factory and production system models using FlexSim. The role includes building accurate digital twins of manufacturing, robotics, and warehousing operations; evaluating system performance; and recommending improvements. The engineer works closely with production, automation, and R&D teams to support data-driven decision-making.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Build detailed simulation models of full factories, production lines, robotics cells, and internal logistics systems using FlexSim.
* Integrate realistic behaviors for robots, automation equipment, conveyors, AGVs/AMRs, and CNC machinery.
* Analyze model outcomes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
* Evaluate alternative layouts, control strategies, and process improvements to improve throughput and stability.
* Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommended actions.
* Collaborate with automation, robotics, industrial engineering, and planning teams to validate assumptions and implement improvements.
* Maintain, refine, and update FlexSim models as operations evolve.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
* Proven experience (2–5+ years) in end-to-end factory simulation using FlexSim.
* Strong background in manufacturing workflows, automation systems, and material-handling processes.
* Hands-on experience with robot assembly, commissioning, or integration.
* Practical exposure to KUKA, ABB, or FANUC robot programming, operation, or troubleshooting.
*Preferred Skills*
* Experience in robotics-based manufacturing lines, warehouse automation, or CNC automation systems.
* Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital-twin development.
